Work where healing happens

Bring What You Do. Help Us Expand What's Possible.

Strides Equestrian Therapeutic Center is growing, and we are looking for passionate, creative, and mission-aligned professionals interested in providing services as independent contractors.

We believe wellness and growth do not look the same for every person. That is why we are continuing to expand beyond one approach or one type of service. We are interested in connecting with professionals who bring unique skills, training, and ideas to the individuals and communities we serve.

We Are Looking for Providers in Many Areas

Mental Health Providers
Licensed and license-eligible mental health professionals interested in providing traditional, experiential, trauma-responsive, somatic, or equine-assisted mental health services.

Skill Development Providers
Professionals interested in working directly with individuals in the community to build life skills, emotional regulation, communication, independence, and other individualized skills.

Wellness Providers
Yoga instructors, massage therapists, somatic practitioners, mindfulness professionals, movement providers, and other wellness professionals interested in bringing their services into a collaborative environment.

Creative & Expressive Providers
Art, music, movement, and expressive arts professionals who use creativity to support connection, self-expression, and wellness.

Equine & Animal-Assisted Providers
Professionals with appropriate training or an interest in developing competency in equine or animal-assisted services.

Tell us what you do and how you believe your services could fit at Strides.

Why Provide Services Through Strides?

Strides offers a growing, collaborative environment designed to bring professionals and services together. Depending on the provider role and service area, opportunities may include access to therapeutic spaces, equine environments, community-based work, provider support, referrals, and opportunities to grow your services.

Mental Health Provider Opportunities

Provide Mental Health Services Differently

Are you a mental health professional looking for an opportunity to provide services in an environment that values connection, creativity, collaboration, and individualized care?

Strides Equestrian Therapeutic Center is looking for mental health providers interested in joining our growing provider network as independent contractors.

You do not have to provide equine-assisted services to be part of Strides.

We are interested in connecting with mental health professionals from a variety of backgrounds, specialties, and therapeutic approaches.

Opportunities With or Without Horses

Mental health providers may be interested in providing:

• Individual mental health counseling
• Child and adolescent services
• Adult mental health services
• Trauma-responsive services
• Family support and counseling
• Somatic or body-based approaches
• Experiential mental health services
• Equine-assisted mental health services
• Group services
• Other specialized areas of mental health practice

Providers interested in incorporating horses into their services must complete Strides' required training and onboarding process before independently providing equine-assisted services.

Previous horse experience is not required for all mental health provider opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For

We are interested in connecting with:

• Licensed Clinical Social Workers
• Licensed Professional Counselors
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists
• Advanced Practice Social Workers
• Licensed or license-eligible mental health professionals
• Mental health professionals with specialized training or areas of practice

We especially welcome providers who value individualized services, professional growth, collaboration, and thinking beyond a one-size-fits-all approach.

Why Join the Strides Provider Network?

As an independent provider with Strides, opportunities may include access to established service locations, referrals, therapeutic environments, equine spaces when appropriately trained, and collaboration with professionals from a variety of service areas.

We want providers to bring their professional knowledge, education, experience, and strengths to their work.

Strides provides the structure and environment for services while supporting providers in developing their role within our growing network.

Provider opportunities, training requirements, and service options vary based on licensure, credentials, experience, funding sources, and the type of services being provided.

Interested in Equine-Assisted Mental Health?

You do not need to arrive already knowing how to incorporate horses into mental health services.

Mental health providers interested in equine-assisted work may have opportunities to complete required education, training, mentorship, and competency development before independently providing equine-assisted services through Strides.

Our goal is to support ethical, intentional, and appropriately trained professionals in providing quality services.

Interested in Joining Strides?

We would love to learn more about your professional background, areas of interest, and the type of services you would like to provide.

Tell us about yourself and what you hope to bring to Strides.

Skill Development Provider Opportunities

Make an Impact Where Life Happens

Strides Equestrian Therapeutic Center is looking for motivated and compassionate Skill Development Providers interested in working directly with individuals in their homes and communities.

This is not a traditional office-based role.

Skill Development Providers help individuals practice meaningful, individualized skills in real-life settings and situations.

Providers join Strides as independent contractors and have the opportunity to use their strengths, creativity, and experience while working toward individualized client goals.

What Does a Skill Development Provider Do?

Depending on the individual's needs and service plan, skill development services may focus on:

• Emotional regulation
• Communication
• Self-advocacy
• Healthy relationships and boundaries
• Social skills
• Daily living skills
• Community engagement
• Independence
• Problem-solving
• Coping strategies
• Organization and routines
• Confidence and personal growth

Services may take place in the community, home, or other approved settings based on the individual's goals and service needs.

The purpose is not to simply spend time with a client. Providers intentionally use activities, conversations, and real-life experiences to help individuals practice and strengthen identified skills.

Who We Are Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have experience in:

• Human services
• Education
• Special education
• Youth programs
• Behavioral support
• Community services
• Social services
• Coaching or mentoring
• Disability services
• Mental health support
• Other related helping professions

We also recognize that valuable experience can come from a combination of education, training, professional work, and life experience.

Provider eligibility and service requirements may vary depending on the program, county, funding source, and individuals being served.

Bring Your Strengths to the Work

Not every Skill Development Provider works exactly the same way.

You may enjoy working with youth, adults, individuals with disabilities, or individuals who benefit from hands-on and community-based learning.

You may have strengths in art, outdoor activities, organization, movement, life skills, social connection, or another area that can be intentionally connected to individualized goals.

We want to learn what you are good at and how those strengths could support the individuals we serve.

Why Provide Services Through Strides?

Skill Development Providers may have opportunities to build flexible caseloads, provide meaningful community-based services, receive provider support, and work within an organization focused on individualized and creative approaches.

Strides provides onboarding, service expectations, documentation guidance, and ongoing provider support.

As an independent contractor, providers are responsible for managing their availability and professional responsibilities while meeting Strides and program requirements.

Interested in Joining Strides?

Tell us about your experience, the populations you enjoy working with, the communities you are available to serve, and the strengths you would bring to skill development services.

We would love to learn more about you.

Wellness & Specialty Provider Opportunities

Bring What You Do to Strides

Do you provide a wellness, creative, body-based, or experiential service that could support individuals and communities?

We want to hear from you.

Strides Equestrian Therapeutic Center is growing our network of independent providers and professionals who bring different skills, specialties, and approaches to wellness.

You do not have to be a mental health therapist or work with horses to provide services within the growing Strides network.

We Are Interested in Connecting With

• Yoga instructors
• Massage therapists
• Somatic practitioners
• Art and expressive arts providers
• Music professionals
• Mindfulness providers
• Movement professionals
• Wellness educators
• Group facilitators
• Creative professionals
• Body-based wellness practitioners
• Other qualified wellness and specialty providers

This list is not meant to include every possibility.

If you have a service or specialty that aligns with our mission, we want to learn more about it.

Your Specialty. Your Professional Skills.

We believe providers should have the opportunity to bring their professional strengths and areas of expertise into their services.

You may already own a business or have an established professional practice. You may be looking to expand into a new community, develop groups, offer individual services, or connect with a collaborative network of providers.

Depending on the service and location, opportunities may include individual services, group programming, workshops, community wellness opportunities, and use of available therapeutic or wellness spaces.

Strides does not expect every provider to offer the same service or use the same approach.

We are interested in learning what you do, what training or credentials you hold, and how your services may align with the Strides mission and the communities we serve.

Have an Idea We Haven't Listed?

Tell us.

Some of the best services begin with a professional saying, “I have an idea.”

If you provide an ethical, professional, and meaningful service related to wellness, connection, personal growth, creativity, or skill development, we invite you to submit your interest.

We will review your experience, credentials when applicable, proposed services, and how your work may fit within the Strides provider network.

Why Connect With Strides?

Depending on the provider opportunity, professionals may have access to growing service locations, therapeutic and wellness spaces, opportunities to develop services, community connections, and a network of professionals providing a variety of supports.

Provider arrangements, space use, referrals, payment structures, and independent contractor requirements may vary based on the type of service being provided.

Interested in Bringing Your Services to Strides?

Tell us:

• What you do
• Your training, credentials, or professional experience
• The services you currently provide
• The communities or populations you enjoy serving
• Your location or service area
• What you would like to bring to Strides

Your specialty may be exactly what we are looking to add next.
